The Very Early Liverpool 'Battle of Anfield' thread.
..May as well kick this one off, as it will probably only get after match comments due to the population of Accrington heading there. I wonder if anyone thought of inviting those boys (now men) who made the famous milk add?? Surely they must be up there with Eric, Ilyas Khan, Colman, Holt and others who have contributed to build the legacy that is ACCRINGTON STANLEY.

Don’t Think we did too badly tbh. We were helpless of course, but With the possible exception of Khumbeni the lads did themselves proud.

Just travelling back now.
It's been a great experience and at the start of the second half we could have got back in the game. Nobody let the team down imo. Everybody put in a shift and although we never looked like winning, we gave it a good go.
