Neil, even if I were to go into their front room and see what the light is like, what they perceive as a problem and what I perceive of it may be two different things - as is shown by Park and Garinda's differing views on the brightness of the light in the first place. The thing is that if a few leylandii and/or bushes blocking the light off from them solves the problems without upsetting anybody else then it's a good compromise.

Next time you walk along park lane, just look at the street lights, you will find a large gap between lights............that was a no I don't want that there. :D :D

Why would you want it dark and inviting to burglars outside your house?

The street lights were in the park, along the bottom path, HBC came along and stated "we are putting the lights here" there was against the stone gatepost between ours and next door.No I do not want that there, hence they did not put one there. As for burglars, we had a dog.

Why would you want a dog. All they do is eat and sh*te . I can't understand why anyone would want to walk behind a dog picking up its dirt.
