Neighbourhood Watch

Is the rhyddings park neighbourhood watch still in operation, do they still meet in the stop & rest, not heard anything for a while, or are they being over-shadowed by the friends of rhyddings park

Yes they do. I heard from an un-named connected source today that some of the land near to Hippings School is being sold for housing.

Probably but not mine, it's further down. Just a bit frightening as it isn't brown field land. The Council would soon fill their budget defecit if they sold off all our green field sites for housing though.

I heard that the residents close to hippings school have been having problems with...........in the school grounds late at night.

If land is sold for housing, it will make dropping off & collecting children from hippings school even more difficult, oh that would be out of the neighbourhood watch area would'nt it

Are you sure it's not a brown field site, there are houses across from hippings, and allotments to the left of the houses. That is unless they are planning on a little bit of demolition.............the houses :)

I'm not sure, I thought it was land belonging to the school.

I'll see what my mole can dig up, besides holes.;)

If it's land beloning to the school it could be LCC that's involved not HBC, now if you had said the playing field......that would solve a lot of problems for the rhyddings park neighbourhood watch, all those scramble bikes :D
