Does anyone know if their are any areas in Oswaldtwistle where the land has been allocated for future housing developements?

Doll's houses?

Try Southport. I believe they have got rid of their model village. The land you are talking about wouldn't take 150-170 full size human houses, but would happily take a mini Lilliput, and perhaps the odd mini Houses of Parliament.

If our town is such a dump why do you want to build houses here? Surely no one would want to buy them.

I'm not sure but didn't Graham Jones say on one of the other threads, that Hyndburn had reached a limit for new houses at the moment? I perhaps need to trawl back through some of the threads to find out the facts.

Think you may be right there gayle, was there not something in the same thread about "brown field" sites.

HBC are looking for a developer to partner the scheme "Church Canal Gateway" may be rob249 could look at that.
