One of our police cars is missing

Has anyone else noticed that a police car as been parked outside the TSB on Union Road for the last 72 hours!!! there could be a number of reasons including -

1 The greatest crime Ossy has ever had is being investigated.
2 It as been stolen and dumped.
3 The police have forgotten where they parked it.
4 Owner abducted by aliens.
5 Waiting for a very large curry order from Reena's.

Anyone else got any ideas why a police car is parked on Union Road for three days, what a waste of resources. Is someone missing a policeman?

Re: One of our police cars is missing

Its a good job it wasn't parked round where I live here in Bury, someone would have had the wheels and battery, without a doubt.

Yes I saw them as well, but this car hasn't moved an inch for three days, very strange.

It isn't classified as a police car any more, it's Ossy's super new Police Station, PB will be opening it in a thirty thousand pound ceremony very shortly then bragging about how he looks after his local community in the Obbo'.

Rumour has it that it has a camera inside, which seems a bit daft if it's meant to be an undercover operation.

Someone could sell it back to them. Are the guarding the TSB? Is it a real cop car or a tele gag one?

I took a piccy of it today with my phone. It has the drivers side mirror smashed off it and a fixed penalty notice stuck on the windscreen.

There were all kinds of talk last week about CCTV cameras in the police car.

All sounds very weird.

Neil 13-04-2006 16:25

Re: One of our police cars is missing

Great I want some more CCTV cameras, All I need to do is get a certain locksmith to open the van and I'm sorted ;)

This was in tonights telegraph

Quote:

SECURITY guards were attacked with a three-foot wooden pole as robbers snatched thousands of pounds from outside a service station in Accrington.
The two men were beaten as they loaded money into the Lloyds TSB cashpoint at a Blackburn businessman's Total garage, in Burnley Road, Accrington.

You don't think that police intelligence knew a TSB cashpoint was going to get hit, so they parked a police car and a CCTV Van outside the TSB Bank in Ossy as some kind of deterant, the only problem being they were at THE WRONG CASH POINT!!!!! Surely not:stop:

Well, I just think that a policeman is just lodging nereby and allowed to take his company car home with him.

Does happen I think. At the Premier Inn next to my Gym,has been a police car there every night and thought at first, could have been sort of trouble, but came to the conclusion after at least a month, as stated that he was just shacking up there.

If females can admire men in uniforms why cant uniformed men admire talent leaving the gym. :D

Re: One of our police cars is missing

i just laughed so hard at the first post that the water i was drinking came out of my nose!!!

i think they're actually after me...i once found £20 left in the cash machine there and kept it...i do actually still feel guilty about that...there was noone about though and we waited in the car for ten minutes to see if anyone DID come came back but noone did!

entwisi 20-04-2006 06:43

Re: One of our police cars is missing

If you leave the money in the slot the machine retracts it after a period of time (about 1 minute). It also automatically reverses the transaction off the persons account

(Ian recalling writing and testing a fair old chunk of Barclays 'hole in the wall' code)

When we have kids to work days one of the things that seems to get most attention is when I show them what a ATM looks like out of the wall and how all the bits work. Putting pretend cards in and withdrawing loads of fake cash seems to work well too!

There was something in the Accy Obs today about it saying that it was a special operation because crime is so high in Oswaldtwistle and they're having a clamp down.

If it keeps parking on double yellows it will be the thing being clamped down!

It is the same police car too.

It disappeared last night (Saturday) at 10.00 PM, I went into the royal oak and it was there and when I came out at ten it was gone (I was still sober before you ask). I think we have paranormal activity on Union Road.

Yeah, I got home about 10pm last night, and I passed it, must have gone almost at the same time! 12 hours later, I notice it's gone.
