Can't remember where I got me steak and kidney pie from!
 

When I visited ossy back in 1974 me mum, dad and meself would go out to lunch to this neat little cafe just out of ossy, I remember we would of driven about 15 mins to get there and we could park out front... The chef was an ex RAF cook and he made the best home made steak and kidney pies I have ever had... The waitress thought I was weird because I would order a grapefruit before the main meal, apparently you were supposed to have it after ( strange these Australians she thought! )... Anyway i asked me dad today where it was and him being 83 years on now can't remember where it were! and I'm buggered if I can remember... just reminiscing..

Anyone know the place I'm talking about... I reckon the cook wouldn't be there now :(

Hmm do you know exactly where just out of ossy...I was born in ossy..went to school in ossy worked in ossy..and bought me grave to finaly return back to ossy LOL..standing at church trafic lights in your mind where was it from there??

A 15 min. drive from Ossy in 1974 you could have been in Yorkshire, with so little traffic on the road. lf it was Yorkshire though, the pie wouldn't have been good enough to remember!
