Only reason i get my own way is because i offer to pick it up. If he offers then i suddenly feel like an Indian.

Tealeaf 28-05-2004 18:04

Re: Best ossy takeaway

Indian? All the Ossy take aways are cowboys - Chinese catfood from the microwave or Indian dogfood from the 7 day saucepan.Take your pick.
Whats wrong with proper English food.?

Re: Best ossy takeaway

its got to be Caspian for pizza, Eat well for chinese(even the wife agrees) and Jalfrezi for curry(the chicken madras is excellent) and Rinos for donner meat and chips with tomato sauce and mayo

Re: Best ossy takeaway

Best chippy in Ossy - got to be Woodys, opposite the Co-op, just down from the library. OK, so it is owned by my cousin Yvonne, but she is a brilliant cook and gives huge portions - check it out in the Observer column a couple of weeks back - their researcher even thought that this might be the perfect chip!

As you have guessed, it was Cllr Walmsley that over ruled LCC highways section, but hows this for a second helping. This weeks Observer page 19 "Parking worry as betting shop gets go-ahead", yes you guessed right again our own Cllr Walmsley puts his thoughts on the line again, and opposes the application, indicating that parking is horrendous near the post office, "you just can't park on the main street, I just can't see the point in it". Cllr Hayes is also in on the "act" stating "I can't believe there has been a proper examination of parking around that area by our officers" What a turn round by both Cllrs, they must be experts in traffic control, or is there something else going on here................think about it
