Is he the stilt walker, from the Proms in the Park thingamajig?

The same Burlinton Betie that rises at ten thirty, presumably twice in every twenty four hours?

You certainly raised his balloon that day.

The two suggested uses in that news article are a climbing wall and a muslim wedding venue.

I recall that there was a restaurant in Blackburn that specialised in muslim weddings, and it didn't last long. Also there would be a parking problem for the hoards who attend such events, unless they come to an arrangement with Ossy Mills.

A climbing wall - can't see much call for that around here when real rock climbing is within reasonable travelling distance. Such a wall wouldn't fill that cavernous interior, so seems a 'waste of space' is the right phrase to use there.

If the building was yours, what commercial venture would suit?

Don't Muslims get married in Mosques?

They are further away from real rocks, and Yuppies like doing active pursuits in their lunch hour.

Still think it's ugly, and of little architectural merit.

I wouldn't shed any tears if it was demolished.
