Well the day is drawing near and I'm getting nervous and excited in equal measure.

The front signage went up yesterday.

Looks more like a Whetherspoons pub to me...

Anyway, surely the words 'Civic' and 'Oswaldtwistle' are incompatable?

I hope the dopey hippy, who at lunchtime was driving the wrong way, up the one way street at the side of the building, wasn't connected with the arts centre.

If she was, she didn't raise any applause.

Although she might have been able to interpret my hand mimed performance.

Eeew hand mime ! ... looking for new creative arts and someone to instruct. Fancy it Garinda ? LOL.

You must all come and take a look on open day Sunday, 22nd August .. 1 pm >> 4pm.

It looks absolutely terrific and something for the people of Hyndburn to be proud of.

Well done Gayle ! Oh, I know you keep saying "It's my job", however, some people do their jobs better than others and you are one of them.

I like the sign, by the way.

I had a good look at it, waiting for the daft women to come out into Union Road, after I'd finished my mime.

:D

I think HBC should have bought the old Peel Court land and made it into a car park for the Civic Theatre/Town Hall.

Its looking good with the new railings they are putting up on the car park, pity some idiot has smashed one of the glass boards on, the front, some people have no respect.
