Anyone remember Jew Smiths?
Anyone recall the shop down Oswaltwistle that was half pawn shop/ half musical instrument shop where the guy nicknamed "Jew Smith" , due to the bad prices he paid, he was an elderly bloke who used to run it for a long time in 60's and 70's. Anyone got any more information?

Ossy's like Roston Vasey.
A relative refers to a friend's first wife as 'the Jewess - a beautiful girl'. Perhaps her old man flogged bongos? :D |
