Fox Hill Pub

Bumped into Paul Barton in Accy and he told me he's opening another outlet for his Undertaking Business, The Foxhill Pub on Union Road, so looks like another pub gone down the Swanee

Re: Fox Hill Pub

I thought that the Foxhill only reopened about a year ago.

Ah well, I suppose if it's going to be a funeral parlour - full of the dead and the glum faced - it won't be the first pub in Hyndburn to achieve that distinction.

The Accy Commercial (aka Wetherspoons) has already done it.

I've wrote a poem.

It's a good 'un - I'm sure you'll all agree:

THE FOXHILL

Will the new owners

Allow the sad mourners

To drown their snot

With a takeaway

From Yip Spot?

There are still plenty of pubs in Church, perhaps you should be asking, are there any pubs in Church that are open?

I seem to remember a few groups dying in there some time in the past, so is it actually a change of use?
;)

I have never been in.

At least it wont be an empty building in a prominent place as it says in the news story.

Well if it does change usage I suggest you avoid it for as long as possible from now on.
