Accrington Pals, The Ronny Baxter who was the number two world darts player at one time! ( got that from the tinternet), also jim bowen from bullseye lived in accrington and hes famous.

I got chatting to a bloke from Liverpool the other day and of course Accrington came into the convo... the first thing he said was " Oh.. sitting outside Woolworths on saturdays drinking cider".. I kid you not! ( he was in his 40's) and this was in London!
