Tom Berry, footballer

Tom Berry was born in Clayton 31st March 1922. He played for Gt Harwood, then Oxford City before signing for Hull in 1947. He was 6ft1inches, a full back/centre half who played for Hull until 1957, making 276 appearances. He scored one goal for the Tigers

i used to look after him when he was put into the care home i was working in and he was a very nice gentleman
