There has got to be a time when, in order to keep this forum up to speed, that this back seat Gaffer, withdraw into the shadows with his Karma buddies and leave the intelligent and serious postings to the members who are qualified and experienced to do so. Dont spoil a good forum Less. :) |

How pathetic you are, I'm not about stopping intelligent comments or threads just people that insist they are better than the rest of us, you are a prime example. I know I'm not perfect but I do object to your kind of person that try to make yourself better rather than equal to the rest of us. If you are now starting yet another of your useless lets get Less freaky do's could I start by saying, you aren't liked by most people, most of us put up with you, continue as you are and I might just stop being a good boy. :p By the way, I've no real problem with entwisi except that he is Soooo, perfect, he, I can understand because he believes it, you are are just a pain that no-one really wants to put up with, (no matter how many friends you pretend to have). |

You are the only man on earth who has ever called me Slime and because of your position will probably get away with it. Try to go big time with a small brain and you may come unstuck. |

Oh my gosh he was called slime :D We do have to be careful which words we use as we are a family forum. I am sure many members would use more colourful words to describe your actions on this board than slime. |

I think that this could be sorted out later behind the bike sheds
....bring your own water pistols  |
Re: IE vunerability
If you want be educated on unsigned negative karma, just follow this thread.
The buddies gain, leeps and bounds....the ones who dont toe the party line suffer. I am not bleating, I am just putting forward a senario that does happen on this forum. Man Management is a skill and if you encounter a challenge to that skill you act accordingly. I am nobodies patsy and will under no circumstancies put up with the rantings of stupid characters who display 'Better than thou' attitudes towards fellow members. Go for the Anon 'Red Button' if you must but have the balls to sign your complaint. |

Re: IE vunerability
Why sign bad karma when it obviously annoys the recipient even more when it is unsigned. Its like a double slap to some people :D

Re: IE vunerability
I have used IE since the beginning, only once did i try a inferior browser and soon removed it, an unpatched activex bug sounds about as threatening as swine flu which we are not worried about seeing as we dont eat much pork, smoke many pork sausages or even drink pig bile, and as i dont install any activex unless i need it and can verify where its coming from i am not in the slightest bit worried about it and will be using IE like nothing ever happened like i have past all the scares and worries thrown about by the "registry" over the years

Re: IE vunerability
Many people see IE as the inferior browser. I liked it before it went all icons and they moved many of the buttons to the right of the window. Yes I know you can move things about but I just stopped using it instead. A bit like the drastic change Microsoft made to the look of Office when they moved from Office 2003 to 2007.
I do use IE at work as it is the only one installed. I don't like it as much as Firefox. I find Firefox the easiest browser that suits me personally best. I do think browsers, like any applications are personal and you should use what you like. I always warn people to try something else instead of IE because it has always been one of the least secure browsers with the biggest number of bugs/hacks. I always have more than one browser on my PC's just incase the one you usually use does get attacked or just goes screwy. You can then use another browser to find out how and then to fix your usual one. |
Re: IE vunerability
It sounds like a plan having two browsers but i think the media stirs up the browser wars and i have never had a problem with IE whether it was under attack or not. i agree with the idea that some browsers may be more suited for different ways of useing your browser experiance, i have friends who load their start page with all sorts of gadgets like weather modules and news blogs then moan when they are waiting for it to load. I keep my start page as naked as the day it was installed, i want to open it and browse as soon as possible.

Re: IE vunerability
google is my home page, you don't get much simpler than that.
I think your browsing habits will determine how likely you are to end up on sites trying to hijack your browser etc |
