Showing phone numbers is nothing new. My mobile picked up facebook friends phone numbers months ago when i first got the phone.

Most of my personal info like emails and phone number is set to be viewed by me only so you should not be able to see my number. If you can see my number then yes they are doing something wrong.

I just click this, next to your name on the edit friends list

http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:A...eA9v5bgLNObtnw

and listen in to all your phone calls.

:eek::D:eek:

I do.

I've never heard such a nice boy, chatting to his mum.

Puts me to shame.

The ironic/daftest thing to me is joining the group "I like Accyweb" .. showing on the left of the main page ... shows 'photos, etc, doesn't take you long to work out who is who.

No.

As a friend, I can't see that info.

I haven't pressed I like it, because of that.

Don't particularly want my mug shot, and name on there.

Though being nosey I do click other peoples' faces, and try and work out who they are on here.

:D

So facebook have changed nothing recently because I have been set like that for months.

Its good though that Lindsay brought this up because to many people dont look at these settings

True.

I panicked that Facebook had somehow listed my number/s, even though I've never posted them.

It only does if you have them on your info.

Like you say, a timely reminder about security settings on Facebook.

It does let you check what details are seen, by everyone other than friends.

Did you check my facebook warning on my status yesterday? Here it is again

IMPORTANT. Tomorrow Facebook will change its settings to allow zombies to come into your house while you sleep and eat your brains with a sharpened spoon. To stop this from happening go to Accounts / Home Invasion Settings / Cannibalism / Brains and un-check the "Tasty" box. Please copy and re-post.

I did.

It made me laugh.

I resisted copy 'n' pasting it, because my friends already think I have a phallus growing out of the top of my skull.
