Been getting calls over the last few days which are a little different, its just a recorded message which starts do you realise yours is the only computer, well I don't know what else its says because I hang up, but what I did do was to use 1471 and got this, "you were called today at blah blah the telephone number is 00000 0000 0000 to return the call press 3", I pressed 3 and the number you have called has not been recognised please check and try again, wonderful

I got this the other week, told me they could see viruses on my PC. Asked me to type a command in several times. As I knew what it was I strung her along for 15 minutes by telling her I had typed the command in and questioning wether Oxford ( her stated office location ) was the one near Delhi. Eventually she said I must be typing in the wrong command as she couldn't see my PC, at which point I asked her how she knew there were viruses in the first place if she couldn't see my PC. She hung up :D

I had the same call about Windows, I pretended to be hard of hearing and told the girl with the foreign accent that my house was new and I didn't need new windows.

One more click to add to her portfolio.

Did she do what they asked and took control of her PC to fix it for her. If so she might need it looking at to remove whatever they did to it. I would not want to use it until it was checked over.
