Thank's for the link Dave, what a wonderful site, covers everything the enquirer wants, that will save alot of duplicate work.

By the way, anyone know Bill Gates email address?
I want to pick his brain about setting up a new operating System for P.C.'s
It's called same as windows but different.

I suppose that if you don't ask...then you don't get.

Having visited Toxicity, oops sorry Tocacity, I find this post from John:

Is there a train station in Accrington? I am trying to organise a school strip here and we will be coming from London.
John.

Accy had better watch out for hordes of youngsters in the buff but why on earth would they be visiting from London?:rolleyes:

You really have to wonder if people can be trusted with children if they have to ask on a forum if a town has a railway station instead of just googling it :D

It may also be a posh school and they are going to threaten their pupils, if you don't pass your exams you will end up like these people :)

Free Parking, Market Hall (with a free spot the bench competition), Outdoor Market, Arndale Centre, another free comp' guess what that empty shop used to sell, Drunks, beggars & druggies the list just goes on.
Though an essential stop off point is LancsDaves shop to pick up their souvenir T-shirt with the words 'I've seen the s(h)ite called Accrington' on it. By the way it costs an extra fiver if you want a pre-worn scratch and smell shirt with kibab and lager stains down the front.
Please, don't ask what it is that makes you scratch Daves never looked that close at them but the smell is authentic.

Could be on to something here, might be a nice little earner for the town. Maybe the website creator has Accy's best interests at heart after all.

The wise members of my family always get me black T-shirts so that the stains don't show and stitch industrial strength air-fresheners into the armpits before giving them to me.

Re: Advice on a new site I am building about Accrington

my advice for a site for accrington would be to have a sub forum for the less desirable members at the outer or lower level of the site unlike how accrington its self slams them smack dead in the center so as to maximise exclusion of decent people
