I will be back at catterick may13 for the annual dedecations of the laid up squadron standards at st annes church afterwards we go to our former depot now a army barracks where we have a marchpast and salute taken by a senior officer of the raf regiment last year it was the station commander of the raf regiment depot honington then we march to the trees memorial were the ashes of the victims of the IRA are laid the associations padre the reverend will downie leads the prayers then of to the centurion club which has still retained its name despite being run by the army were we have a buffet and a drink and meet up with our old comrades

Spotted the corporals raf regiment uniform in sellitalls window facing accrington town hall the person who wore that uniform wnen in the regiment must have been in the queens colour squadron its spotless like brand new and the shine on the buttons of the greatcoat very highly bulled
