New picture puzzle for Katy, and you won't get this by goggleing, it was gone before you were born.

Was it a cottage off Plantation Road near to where Plantation House stood?

Well off Plantation Rd, what are you refering to with Plantation House.
Any way, it was in olden times referred to as a Farm.

This is really a difficult one .. gone before 1943 then .. that's the only clue.

Brought back memories though of when we used to colour in black and white prints ... presume that it is why it is only partially in colour ?.. :D

:p Not just ready for that one yet Retlaw.

Think gonna' have to give up on this .. no clues at all except the one you gave us .... t'other side of Mancester Road ... no maps going that far up for this period that show any farms.

Thought at first could have been part of Lower Antley Hall because of a feature on it... however, after your 'clue', that knocked that on the head.:(

Seeing as you now admit defeat.
It was called Brocklehurst, near to Spire Farm.

Some years ago some one applied for planning permission to rebuild. There was quite a bit in the paper at the time.

The name Brockholehurste is mentioned in documents dating back the 1463, so its a really old part of Accrington.
