Accrington Observer 1916
 
There should be a lot of interest in a new addition to Brian Faulkner's Newspaper Detectives website. Brian is transcribing all the articles from the Accrington Observer of 1916, and has today put online a surname index for January through March. Fantastic work.

Can't see much to swank about.
I've digitaly photographed all the Accy Observers from 1915 to 1923, Acc Gaz 1915 to 1918, Blackburn Weekly Times 1915 to 1919, Burnley Express 1916, Chorley Guardian 1916. Aprox 8000 photo's of all articles that relate to WW1, including Memoriams in later years, to men who died.

Who is the gentleman in question Andrew. How come I havent heard of him doing this type of work before?
