The old bakery, on Jacob Street, which was later occupied by the Elite Snooker club, and has been empty for quite a while, is to be transformed by the North Lancs Training Group.

Yes....we did, but ours was a bit different.....
Don't eat Moseleys bread it makes you sh*t like lead. No bl**dy wonder you f@rt like thunder, Eating moseleys bread. Saying that we used to go by the bakery every day when we walked home from school.......to buy squashed cakes at a penny each......we used to walk it home so that we could spend our bus fare on cakes....we didn't care if they were squashed. They tasted alright to us. |

Just a few views here, to jog people's memories. The premises had been closed for quite a while when these photos were taken towards the end of 2009.

Article here explains a little about what is going to happen to the old bakery/snooker hall which is on Jacob Street/corner of Grange Lane.
