Accrington Web
 

This isn’t anything to do with the history of Accrington as such but about the history of Accrington Web itself. I’m sure there are others like myself who only became Webbers long after the web page was originally put together and who would be interested to know the origin of this wonderful ‘family’, how it came about and who started it. Also how long has it been going?
I know that Mick and his band of Merry Men (and women???) must put a lot of their time into keeping it so successful. Well done to all concerned.

As far as i'm aware Roy is the owner n guy who started accyweb, The reasons, others that were in at start can enlighten yeh dotti.:)

I seem to remember doing a blog, or maybe a thread about it several years ago, just to prove how the mind mixes things up, Mick came underneath and corrected me about the first AccyWeb meet!
Let's not worry about how it started, instead, let's make sure it goes on for another 10 years.#

It's up to us all to keep it diverse and interesting.

I’ll drink to that Less, re making sure it goes on for another 10 years (just hope I do – go on for another 10 years, that is – oops!) but why stop there!!!
It certainly lives up to being diverse and interesting, even better reading than a good book on a cold night….
