I agree with Lindsay, though the fields and towers dont seem to fit and the land seems to be sloping the wrong way..... hmm but that does resemble the Queens building of Moorhead School on the top right hand side.

i first thought of queens road when i saw it, that means picture took from around about marlbouorgh road (spelt wrong? lived there half my life) what ur saying is queens building looks too close.

I am reliably informed that the photo was taken from the Coppice about 30 years ago using a 300mm Telephoto lens, thus giving a very foreshortened effect.

The Cooling Towers are on what is now the PC World area at Whirebirk.

The original Mount was demolished c1952 and the site remained as a "garden" until the ESMI Unit ( The Mount) was built c1984.

The 10,000 Ackers are still up for grabs.

I do, but for some reason since the update bank accounts aren't showing up on peoples profiles..... so i dunno whats going on. Plus technically Lindsey got it right first, so she should get the ackers.
