oasis are the best band in the world today without a doubt.
ok liams a prat and his voice isnt that great anymore; but noel gallagher is a brilliant songwriter - and of late a brilliant singer.

Oasis sound awfull, look awfull, and generally smell bad and are far from being the best band going today!

I suggest young man, that you pull your head out of the sand and have a look at what is really going on!

Music of today, as I am sure you are aware, is not what it once was. In the main it is full of manufactured rubbish, pop idol, x factor and all the rest. Oasis, whilst not winning any competitions (like they could anyway) are just another example of plastic crap! Always the same, uninteresting and well, just awful.

No more need be said on the matter!

I don't mind Oasis, I can tolerate them but I get the feeling that if they weren't famous they would both be in one of her majesty's establishments at our expense by now.:D

Going back to the 80's (my mis-spent youth:D ) I hated Dollar. Talentless cr@p with too much peroxide. They were on one of those tours a couple of years back at Xmas and guess what........They're still pants. I think I posted in the music thread at the time that she should've stayed in Sydney and he should stick to selling burgers.....

oh really, so what is 'really going on today' haha this should be amusing.
im not saying there arent any other good bands, because there are a lot of realy good bands around atm, ie Subways,Futureheads, Zutons, Coral, Test Icicles (hehehe) - just none of them are as good as oasis! :D
oh and by the way - oasis, not winning any competitions? how about winning the peoples choice and best album of the year at the Q awards? hmm....
