If so Puffing billy is the oldest surviving steam locomotive in the world, if my memory serves me right it served a coal mine in the North East. (hopes he's right) :) |

I agree with stanaccy, the original Puffing Billy built in 1814 by William Hedley at Wylam Colliery Northumberland.
