Fuji Owners

If you own a Fuji and take your pics in raw mode this is a good tool to process them, don't bother with the Fuji hyper utility its not worth installing on your pc.

I personally use dcraw. It was originally written on linux but there are dos ports knocking around.

examples of improvements over Canons software here http://www.aim-dtp.net/aim/digicam/dcraw/

I've seen some over the Fuji softawre as well but can't find them at the moment.

I’ve tried installing it but without success. I managed installing the language pack but the software hasn’t run. I get the following message;
s7raw.exe is not a valid Win32 application.

You did get the first one Len, not the WinXP x64 version?

The latter is for 64bit OS

Sorry about the delay in replying but no, I went for the WinXP as I have windows XP. I hadn’t realized there was a difference.

s7raw [Ver 0.4.3 build 144] 643Kbytes 2006/01/14

s7raw for "WinXP x64 edition" [Ver 0.4.3 build 144] 759Kbytes 2006/01/14

.

Yep, It does actually make me laugh that you can walk into PC World etc and buy PCs with 64 bit CPUs and they are all supplied with 32 bit windows XP.

Its like buying a V8 and only running it on 4 cylinders.
