Hover craft racing

Well yesterday we took the kids to Magnolls farm to watch hover craft racing. It was a three day event, but I was working all weekend and could only go yesterday.

To be honest I wasn't all that bothered about going......but hell i'm glad I did. It was FANTASTIC. The weather was a little cold, but it was good.
I'm that hooked I have looked on the web site to find out where the next local event is. It is beginning of september in southport beach!! and I will be going. Take a look

Nice one! I've always fancied having a do at this and I suppose the best way of cadging a go is to go watch an event or two and get chatting to some of the competitors.

A friend of ours was going to go but was put off by the weather I think.

The weather was quite cold willow!!! and we had to go home and get the kids some extra layers!! but boy was it worth it when we got back up there. Some of the crashes were fantastic ( I know I am sadistic) but no real injuries....but a really good day was had by all!!

ROLL on September..that's what I say!! cant wait to go to South port and watch some more racing.
