Dont forget peeps....

...... Top Gear is back tonight at 8.

On this week’s show Richard Hammond makes his triumphant return and talks us through his 288mph jet car shunt.
Jeremy drives Jaguar’s supercharged XKR, and compares it with its Aston Martin stablemate.
Jamie Oliver returns for another go at being a star in a reasonably priced car. But can he knock rival celebrity caterer Gordon Ramsay off the top spot?
And the presenters decide that the appalling state of British roads has become too much to bear, so they decide to take matters into their own hands and resurface a stretch of road themselves.

Top Gear always good to watch, how lucky was Hammond to recover from that crash.

Didn't watch it on princple even though I've watched top gear since William Woolard, (and even Noel Edmonds in the fittipaldi years). Why would anyone want to watch a presenter almost killing himself?...Please give me a logical reason!

I'm as macho as the nexy guy, but doesn't this kind of TV propagate the kids on street corners using their phone cameras to take stupid videos of insane antics?

I wanted to watch it for the sake of seeing Richard Hammond - not crashing the car but recovering now and hopefully looking great. When you're used to seeing somebody on TV (in Brainiac rather than Top Gear) then it's only natural to be interested in their progress after being concerned when they have a terrible accident.

Top Gear is repeated on Tuesday at 7pm Willow on BBC2.

It was good tonight especially when they were doing the road with jeremy and the megaphone. The crash he was lucky and especially the stuff that was said in the filming before he crashed. They've promised not to mention the crash again on Top Gear - wonder how long it is before they mention it again.

I wonder how many people have watched Donald Campbell and the Bluebird crash? Isn't there a film of that in a car museum (Holker maybe) being shown on a continuous loop?

It was quite strange to watch knowing what was going to happen but you can see from the film, he was wearing all the relevant safety equipment, he'd been properly strapped in and after the crash itself, the ambulance was there in seconds. It also goes to show that with all the preparation in the
world random things can happen to anyone that can have massive consequences.

Its good to see he made such a brilliant recovery and I look forward to see him out there sliding something powerful and fast around the circuit.
