Jelly Beans in Sport
 

In 1965 I was lucky enough to be chosen for the Combined Services Water Polo Team for Anzac Forces in Malaya.
We traveled to Hong Kong for a series of games with other units and various teams of Chinese origin. We won a few and lost a few.
The last game was against the Hong Kong Chinese, made up from the Chinese
professionals and police.
Don't get the impression that these guys were anything - but built like brick outhouses.
I was very lucky, as were my team mates that our jelly beans were not sent home to mum in an envelope.
