Caught a repeat of the match on SKY a bit later- good win.

Very difficult match next round against Ferrer -he has lost the last two matches against him - psychologically possibly more important than a "final" ?!

ive driven the spugster nuts the last couple of weeks :p... first the footie .. and now im watching the tennis .. especially on sat nite when the match went on til 11.02pm ...:p well a girl has to have something to drool at ... :p:p:p

Glad to see I'm not the only tennis fan on Accyweb. Just have to hope the weather allows us to see some good games for the rest of the week:)

Tune in this afternoon for the first 2 men's quarterfinals -Murray_Ferrer is on center court -tough match. Will be glued to my seat.

By no means Cashy -it was a fantastic win against a great player.

3 sets to 1 is not "skin of the teeth"! Mentally showed great strength - he had lost the last time the two of them met and although seeded 7 at Wimbledon Ferrer is No 5 in the world.

I am just coming back down to earth again - some fantastic tennis was played by both.

48 hrs to the semi-finals. Should be two great matches.

Just before the last point -husband, who hates Murray said :"Mangio un gatto (Pardon my Italian!) which is the equivalent to = I'll eat my hat (although in Italian they say cat!:eek:) If he is a true champion at this point he'll go out on an ace like Lendl used to. If he does he'll win Wimbedon this year!"

He did just that - fingers crossed! Though I can't decide which of my cats to sacrifice!:D

Murray will not win it he will bottle it as usual, its a shame because he has the game and the shots and the physicality to do it but is mentally fragile in my opinion.
