Grand National Meeting - Booking needed?
 

I'm going to this years Grand National meeting for the first time. Do I need to book in advance on the internet, or will it be ok to pay on the gate?

I get tickets in advance for a certain stand.Walk-ons may be allowed into Tattersalls if you like standing on grass...but I am not sure.

I went a few years back and paid on the door. The best way to get there is by train. Preston to Ormskirk, then metro which stops next door to Aintree. Much easier than car...
