Stupid adverts!!
 

Have you seen the calpol ad which shows the kids running through the house with muddy feet, filling the loo with toilet paper, pushing tenners through the gaps in the floorboards?? Well guess who got up this morning to a loo full of toilet paper, ceourtesy of Samantha who woke in the night, went to tinkle, and thought it would be funny to empty two rolls of paper into the loo! :eek: Why do they put ideas like that into youngsters heads? And especially when it isnt likely to make me run out and buy a bottle of calpol! Errr, Just gonna go hide me money! :hidewall:

When Sam was about 4 there was an advert with kids drawn on the wall in crayon who then "came alive" and started talking and moving around (can't remember any more than that). Anyway, the kitchen wall was a montage of pictures when we got down one Saturday morning.

Lol. Tys favourite is the one where the robot splashes in the puddle and turns into a boy and it says that children have a right to get dirty..... my ty likes to exercise that right lol

My two dont need encouragement, theyve been disposing of my loo roll for some time (well, not just mine, other people have found them doing that same at their house too :rolleyes:)

They do allsorts, dont need to see it on the telly but dont think it helps much lol

I a recent advert Jamie Oliver said he was "gonna whack in some lovely tomatoes"...you can call me fussy, but if that's the sort of thing they get up to at Sainsbury's, I wont be buying my veg from them! :D

Thank heavens for Sky + 5 minutes of adds in 15 seconds, having said that the only add that amuses me is the Spec Savers with the sheep dog, the look on the black sheep's face is hilarious

The one that gets to me at the moment is on 2BR, Morrisons advertising some sort of beer cheap, then at the end they say offer is limited to 6 cases per customer, drink responsibily.

Watched More 4 last night & they showed the same commercials all night.The one that did my nut in the most was the Freeview+ & the costume drama where the viewers gone on hols & the cast can't move till she comes back & the leading lady moans cos she's got a whalebone corset on.
And while i'm having a moan,how about all these programmes that now precede the commercial break with " Blah,blah is sponsered by....." & a commercial before the commercials:mad:
