Whitechapel
Whitechapel is on ITV1 at 9pm Monday it seems to be a modern day version of Jack The Ripper, quite looking forward to it

|
Re: Whitechapel
I’ll be having a peep at it, saw the trailer last night. Looks interesting. :)

Re: Whitechapel
Yes, I think this looks juicy and gruesome, will watch it ... :D
Enjoyed the one before too 'Unforgiven' in three parts ... that was excellent. Find the main actor in this is a bit creepy ... googled as couldn't remember his name. Funny thing is if you put in 'Whitechapel ITV' seems to be a warning that 'this site may harm your computer'. Further warning from Google supposedly when you go in .... don't understand what that is all about .... |
Re: Whitechapel
Here's your answer Kate.
'Human error' shuts down Google - Times Online |
Re: Whitechapel
Thanks Caz for that ... thought it was going to be some sort of advert at first for this macabre thriller ...:D

Re: Whitechapel
It looked quite good on the clips last night, think I'll be having a look tomorrow.

Re: Whitechapel
Anyway, the name of the actor I find abhorrent is Phil Davis, now that Google is working ....sorry, but to me he is sooo ugly, and makes my skin crawl; won't stop me watching though.

Re: Whitechapel
He's a exellent actor though Kate. I like all the other stuff he;s done. Hope we get it over here.

Re: Whitechapel
HA Ha Ha, good one Kate. Whatched Ouadrophenia a couple of weeks ago, Phil Davis, was in that, with Mark Wingett from the Bill. Also Ray Winstone, and Sting. First time Ive ever seen it, Cashy & Wynonnie will be surprised.

He was brilliant in the Mike Leigh films 'Grown Ups', 'High Hopes', and 'Vera Drake'. It's on at the same time as 'Backstairs Billy', so will have to record one of them to watch later.:D |

It was made on a relative shoe string, and when I watched it the other week I noticed that although it's set in the sixties, the cinema in Brighton was showing the 1978 film Heaven Can Wait, and all the shoppers watching the mods 'n' rockers rioting were dressed in their seventies flares. Still didn't spoil it though, even seeing Toyah at her heaviest.:D |
