Wendy Richards Dies

It has been confirmed in the last few minutes that Wendy Richards who played Pauline Fowler had died of cancer aged 65. There is no other details at the moment.

I heard she was ill, but didn't realise she was 65.
I have never watched Eastenders so I remember her as Mrs Slokum's sidekick in Are You Being Served - she was nobbut a lass then - sad news

The funeral was quite public, which I think is a good thing, as she was so loved by so many.

Love the fact that her favourite recipe was on the order of service.

Wasnt she in the Newcomers, it was a soap in the 60s, maybe some of you can remember some of the other actors in it.
