Watchmen

Went to watch this on Sunday, treated by my daughter for Mothering Sunday.

Well, not quite sure what to say.

Was far too long. 2 hours 43 minutes.
Confusing plot.
A story of redundant superheroes brought out of the cupboard by the death of one of their colleagues, only one has super powers affected by Radium overdose which turned him fluorescent blue and mostly naked.
Could hardly contain myself not to giggle, but was sat next to Grandaughter who takes these films seriously, so didn't dare. Just glad not sat next to daughter, we have a similar sense of humour.
Tiring of American movies now, give me British any time.
Even the blue penis and spotty back of the Superhero did not excite me.

Son, who is a bit of a movie buff, has just texted me to say was 'pooh' and confusing .. thought he may have been more subjective (or is it objective ?) actually.

Would love to hear other opinions so just to know is not me.

Was funny in parts though, like the bit where the little midget had his sidekicks arms sawn off because the guy they wanted to get at in a prison cell, had tied his hands to the bars, and they couldn't get to them

Oh, and they kill off the best character within the first 5 minutes.

Hope not putting anybody off ... :D
