...a new film about Britain's finest rhythm 'n' blues band of the 70's, Dr Feelgood, who came roaring straight out of Canvey Island and give the music industry a kick up the backside.

No probs, Shakey. Looks a fascinating film and Canvey Island looks one helluva strange place. Just glad, we ain't playing 'em anymore! :D

Saw this at long last over the weekend and I can really recommend it to anyone who's been into rock/rock 'n' roll music over the last 40-50 years, even if you're not a particularly big Dr Feelgood fan. Imaginative, original, funny, gripping and quite moving at the end...it's obviously not going to be widely shown in cinemas (can't see it running at Accrington Vue anytime soon), but if you do get a chance to watch it, give it a go.
