Have you caught the afternoon quiz show Pointless on BBC2 with Alexander Armstrong? It is a really good format and very entertaining.

I wondered why some of the questions seemed months out of date! Hull City were still in the Premiership yesterday!

I didn't get it at first but we taped a few and watched them in the evenings, not bad

Great to see this programme promoted to the 5.15 spot on BBC1 to replace the tired and tedious Weakest Link.

And a note to the producers of Deal or No Deal. The jackpot has to be won regularly to maintain viewers interest in the show. In the case of Pointless, this is every couple of weeks. In Deal or No Deal it is three times in 7 years! I know the jackpot isn't as big, but the thrill of watching someone win the jackpot is just the same!

When I first saw the program I thought the name was very apt, but since I've watched it for a week or two its started to grow on me, just don't like the presenter, and I don't mean Richard

I just didn't get it at first but now I tape it and watch it later and it has grown on me Richard Osman is very good, he is a boss at Endermol and his brother a pop star
