I think at least three have 'broken out' over the years because it simply wasn't for them in the end and I respect that more than those who went in there purely for the narcissistic venture of getting their face on the box.

I'm afraid I'd far rather watch something like QI or Have I Got News For You than anything that resembles reality TV.

I'll endorse that 100% Ken:thumbsup:

Being a thicky I loved Big Brother, and rarely missed an episode in ten years.

I have a cruel streak, and enjoy watching other people becoming unhinged.

I find it to be like some internet forums, but with pictures.

People fascinate me.

Observing them is interesting.

Makes no difference if you do it sat in a cafe, on a beach, or whilst they are virtual rats in a box, fighting for attention, whilst being filmed.

Much more to be learned watching others interact, rather than doing jigsaws.

;)

It's likely to attract an even more elitist viewer, now it's moving to Channel 5.

It was that channel that famously had Rebecca Loos tossin' off a pig, on their series The Farm.

It'll make a change from caring for hens in the Big Brother garden.

Let the freak show begin.

seems channel 5 have taken it over

As if there isn't enough crap on TV. Another reason for not bothering to switch on.

As I posted, I'm thick, as well as cruel, and enjoy watching others suffer.

Though I'm a more intelligent cove than Lulworth.

I think I'd only get bored, and give up on it, if the house was filled with people from this thread who don't like it.

More pitiful than cruel then.

:D

Bought some 'Smugglers Tipple' on my last visit to Lulworth Cove. Not for the faint hearted!

I have to say that I have never been a fan of this programme.
I like people watching....it is an interesting and illuminating pastime.......but BB isn't really people watching is it?
When you sit at a pavement cafe watching people(or in a pub for that matter) the people aren't aware that you are watching them....with BB, the people know they are being watched and this somehow skews the values of what they do........all the people who go into this show are wannabes. They want to be 'famous' without having to put the hard graft into it....and without having anything in the way of talent. It is also rather cruel the way the producers manipulate the housemates.
No......not my cup of tea at all.

That is not true G and you know it.

You would have to go a fair way to find a more intelligent and articulate person.
