Gordon Burns - End of an Era

Sorry to see Gordon Burns leaving BBC North West Tonight. He's been part of the furniture for so long.

He'll be missed.

North West Tonight?

I still thought he was on Suprise, Suprise with Cilla-rear, until I saw this thread.

Who are they bringing in to replace Gordon. Stuart Hall?

He's still going strong.

:D

The programme won't be quite the same.

A journalist who has steely determination when needed, but who always comes across as being fair.

They did.

Gordon wasn't the presenter.

It was a dismal failure.

It wasn't exactly my favourite programme when he presented it!

Gordon Burns isn't disappearing altogether. He has a radio show on Radio Lancashire at 9am on Sunday.

It won't be the same as seeing him though........I never was much of a one for romantic interests...but I would give Gordon the top off my egg any morning.

They are.

I think I have a crush on Ranvir Singh.

Even Tony Livsey's not too bad.

Despite informing us Elvis was living on the Moon in a London bus, when he was editor of the Sunday Sport...and being a Dingle.
