Doesn't hurt to give people a chance...

There has been a lot of good comedy - Blackadder, Dad's Army and Fools & Horses to name three. As for the reason they are funny I have no idea. One comedy that wouldn't get in my top 100 would be On The Buses. It was just dirty old men letching over girls. As funny as having piles

I always take notice of W. C. Fields mobertol, never give a sucker an even break, because if you do they usually come back and give you a kick up the backside:rolleyes:

Had completely forgotten Reg Varney & co.! Not my cup of tea either thogh I did love The Liver Birds and Are you being served!:)
Dad's army is classic too...

Are you being served wasn't in my top ten. I couldn't abide John Inman

Probably didn't know how to put one on the thread -I struggled with my first attempts and had to ask Neil to intervene when i tried to put a poll -he was very understanding and accomodating.

No-one is born all-seeing and all-knowing...

Have looked at his profile and the posts he's made - seems like a young person who's trying to find his feet - easy to knock over. Give him a chance...

Married with Children was an American sit com from the 90s. There are clips on YouTube. Just search for Al Bundy. It's very funny. Any others you want to throw into the mix?

Never text -don't know how to do it myself...it's just an abbreviated form of language I suppose.
