Eric Sykes

One of the figureheads of British Comedy has sadly died at the age of 89, Eric Sykes, was in the same mould as Sellers, Cooper, Secombe Bentine and more, who can forget one of the funniest short silent films ever made The Plank, still cracks me up every time a watch it RIP

Eric's first professional stage appearance was at the Accrington Hippodrome.I read that in a magazine article about him.
