I watched the first episode of Paxman's presentation , but the week before I had watched on Youtube the 26 episodes of the 1964 BBC documentary "The Great War" which I found very informative , and I recommend it .

It would appear your oils run out :confused::D- of course it has to do with the program in question as it was in the subject matter! In fact this country only just finished paying off the debt to the Americans for the 2nd World War a few years back!

Well if the finance of any war is relevant to you, that says it all.I was more interested in the hardships and how people coped n got on wi things, It gave me even more respect fer em,

I had to look up on the internet to find out what you are talking about. I love documentaries but I won't find this one for some time in the US. My grandpa's brother died in this war.

on radio lancs its started this week about world war 1 ... the bbc and the imperial war museum have joined together and theyre broadcasting about world war 1. It started this morning about 8.15am on the breakfast show about William butterworth from Lancaster .. him and his 3 brothers all served in the war ... can I just say I wasn't properly awake ...
