The first time I heard this advert, yes heard I wasn't looking at the T.V. at the time, I thought no, that can't be right, but it was.

You see, being an old fart that is hard of hearing when the young man says,

"This Christmas give the gift that lasts, with Chamilia".

I misheard it as,

"This Christmas give the gift that lasts with chlamydia".

Well, there will be plenty receiving it over Christmas but hardly the unexpected gift any woman would want.

Perhaps when naming their products companies should consider words that sound similar?

both things are something you would not want to keep...so I guess they have something in common......although the Chamilia you can put in the charity bag...not sure that any charity would like the gift of Chlamydia.

Perhaps not but I've seen a few charity cases around Accy centre that would no doubt give you Chlamydia in exchange for Chamilia!
