Deleted posts.

Not causing trouble, as before I've been told to pm a mod if I have a query, but I'm just curious.

If a post was deleted, in a thread that already has had lots of wanderings in it, and certainly wasn't offensive, why would it be deleted?

It would be courteous to pm to explain, as has happened in the past.

It wasn't actually myself that spotted it, but the person after who had replied to me.

Confused.

If we don't know what we are doing wrong, how can we stop repeating those mistakes in the future?

It was me who asked rindy - i'll admit it. There was nothing offensive in it - well not in my mind anyway. Can I ask why it was deleted or was it just a block deletion?

We all need to know, that's why a thread is better than a pm.

If we don't all know, we can't be accountable if we do it again by mistake.

I wasnt baiting him - i've made sure i stayed out of that thread for that reason. I just replied to rindy! People know i dont get on with him and so i've stayed clear after sticking my twopennorth in.

To me it just smacks of favouritism, then again I'm getting quite used to that. :(

Do you know, the thing that gets me is that in another thread we can have 15 pages of another member giving grief but you can bet your bottom dollar this thread will be gone by tomorrow morning ;)

I genuinely hope not. It was a serious question, and needs a public answer.

What thread was it? Did I say something? I've been on most of the active threads today. :(

No Willow, it was in Hatters thread and replies from mine onwards were deleted.

How a child can get away with throwing his dummy out of the pram bacause he can't get what he wants but we as a forum aren't allowed to defend against his moaning ad gripeing about this forum is beyond me! I swear I throw my hands up in disbelief! :dunno:

I wondered this the other day actually. I remember posting in hatters thread about him spouting off in chat rooms about 30'something women acting like 3 year olds. Hmmmmm when looked other day it had been deleted. Now that was the only post I had posted in that thread, and it still got deleted.

Maybe the whole thing should be deleted!! if it's down to baiting.

No! It should become a sticky thread, and the title should be changed to:-

No point it becoming a sticky thread if people are not allowed to contribute..... but I like the title change lol.
