Hi All,
I am new to all this so I hope you will bear with me.
I am actually from Cheshire but now live in Sydney.
I found this site when I was looking for a nice parkin recipe. I had one but lost it when our house burnt down. I wonder if anyone has one with oats & vinegar - my old recipe had both.

Did look in the recipe book my Mum wrote out for me when I got married, but would you believe the page with the 'P' was missing :(

Don't remember the bit about vinegar though.

Welcome to accyweb blossomoz...........I have seen a recipe for parkin that uses vinegar.....along with baking powder it helps it rise. I can't lay my hands on it at the moment but will have a look when i have more time.
