Hi there-I was introduced to your site by LancYorkYankee (Brian), he and I are mates from a quiz site. Brian is about to visit the UK and call in at your next meeting in Church-although I am brand new I am hoping it will be OK to join the throng to greet the old colonial.

Bought time you joined your other Accringtonians on the site Peter. Now, you've question why they'd let me on the site with "York" in my name. Isn't York more acceptable than that french sounding thing you've got going? Hmmm . . . maybe not.

Over on Global Trivia I told him about my pending trip. He offered to supply all my needs by the pint. As an Accringtonian (and one who lives right up the road from the Meet pub), figured I'd mention the Accyweb site to him and he (and his wife) could meet the whole gang.

Thanks for the welcome all. I'm originally from Manchester but have lived just up t'road in Todmorden for a good few years. Hey Garinda-is this a second home for Funtrivialites?-or maybe the other way round.
