Hi, my name is Ian Smith and I have lived in Accrington all my life (47years), I have been at the helm of my families Business in the Market Hall for over 30 years and hopefully for many years to come.I am attending a meeting this Tuesday to see what is on the agenda with regard to the Market Hall ? If anyone has any information regarding the origianal sale / building of the market hall I would be very interested to hear it.
One of my customers says it was the people of Accrington who were given the building? Any help would be great.

Hello Ian. There may be one or two people on here with such information. You may be better off posting your request in questions and answers section as it may be viewed by more people. Hi thanks to you all , was just was looking at all the photos etc on the site. Enjoying being here.Have put names to some faces on the Butchers piccy. I'll let you know what is said at the meeting, think it will be a fore gone conclusionas as always with HBC.sorry HYdb 1st, who ever!

Hi, I must get out more often ,i'm loving finding this site.hehe. He indoors thinks i've been taken away by the little green men, but i told him Hyndburn Works are not working today.
