Hello, and welcome.

I lived in London for nearly half my life, from the age of twenty.

I loved it, but my heart and roots were still up here.

It wasn't unknown for me to accost people on buses, the tube, and even chase someone through the crowds down Piccadilly, if I heard an accent from within five miles from Ossy.

Although suprised, the people were always understanding, and nice...as you'd expect of folks from here.

:D

Welcome to Accyweb. I only moved 30 miles and come back regularly, but I still feel homesick at times.

Hello Morwenna, welcome, hope you will keep in touch and post more.

Have actually just come back off holiday from my friends in Spain. My friend's husband is Sandra's brother who will have worked at Wardleworths with you. Sorry, don't actually know her married name.. x

Yes, Sandra was there until the death, and her husband is called Dave.
