Hey up - thought I'd drop in and see what's going on. I went to Gt Harwood Salchow so many times and played there with my Group/Band (wami). Previous to that I was a maniac roller skater and still have a scar or two. My skating boots were made from an old pair of football boots with plywood laminated wheels - Len Mercer (the Boss) always asked - "Who made those terrible objects?" to which I replied - "Me! Do you want to buy them?"
The Electones - Cave Dwellers - were a couple of groups/Bands that spring to mind during those wonderful times,- maybe some of you may remember the fabulous Saturday nights? x wammy. www.wammy-uk.com
