Re: what about the RATS

There used to be a law thats probably a hundred or so years old.. which I believe still holds today.. If you take a rats tail into the town hall hey have to give you a pound..

As far as I know you ahve to tell them where it came from then they can send the proper people round there...

Re: what about the RATS

Cockroaches have got to be the worst thing. Disgusting!
More difficult to get rid of than rats too.

Can't believe some people actually keep them as pets!

It's said that they would be the only creature likely to survive a nuclear holocaust.

Having watched the headmaster of my primary school trying to eliminate a few with his shoe, I can well imagine that!

Ever seen one fly? Ugh! horrible! :o

Re: what about the RATS

uuuurgh roaches! Have to agree with you  there cazzer, used to work in a day nursery in Toronto and every morning when you turned on the lights, you could here them scatter. The worse thing you can do apparently is stand on them, they keep their eggs under the shell and then that goes on your shoe and thats how they spread yuk! They day care was sprayed frequently by the way but the little buggers kept coming back!

Re: what about the RATS

:(  Roaches horrify me,  and they've some bloody big ones abroad. Largest I ever saw was in Cyprus. Living on my todd, I can shift spiders, insects, rodents etc when needed, and have shifted roaches from our old buildings at QPH before the new unit was built, but I couldn't go anywhere near the big one in Cyprus, found it at 3am in my bedroom and had to go and drag a poor fella who was on his way home from a nightclub, into my apartment to get rid of it for me. Bought him a drink the night after for doing it ( when I'd finally convinced him that I wasn't mentally ill) I was in my pj's on the street when I dragged him through my front door and my sister was hysterical in the bathroom. How embarrassing :-[

Re: what about the RATS

I have also dragged a perfect stranger off the street to get rid of a spider that was on my front door.
I have had clients, collegues and relatives shift them at work.
Dont like any crawlies of any description.

Caz 29-09-2003 19:58

Re: what about the RATS

You'll have to get one of those spider catcher thingys from the Betterware man, Anne. I got one. Can get rid of em without killing em now.  :)

Re: what about the RATS

Seriously, the problem with alll rodents is that they soon become immune to the poisons that they develop for them.Fasinating really how they can develop their immune systems that fast

Tealeaf 06-10-2003 12:45

Re: what about the RATS

What about the rats with wings - pigeons? There's lots of those bu**ars around........and what happened to all the house sparrows we used to see........it's years since I've seen a sparrow in Church..............yet 30 years ago you could'nt look out the back window without seeing a couple of dozen in the back yard. Have the rats/cats ate 'em all up?
